Thank you for breathing with us.

This page is yours to come back to. Revisit what we did, understand what happened in your body and mind, and keep integrating what came up, gently and at your own pace.

THE PRACTICE™ BREATHWORK

The breath sits inside a greater process.

1. Arrive

Grounding+Intention

We begin in mindfulness, with single-pointed awareness. You get clear on what you're bringing in, set your intention, and settle at the root chakra, where we establish safety and your connection to the world around you.

3. Integrate

Stillness + Guidance

At the third eye and crown, the technique is released and we move into meditation. You rest, peacefully detached yet reflective, open to guidance on the next steps that will carry this forward.

The Practice™ Breathwork uses conscious connected breathing, a pranayama technique. But the technique never stands alone. Each session moves through a deliberate journey, from safety to release to integration.

2. Breathe

The Journey Upward

The breath is guided up through the chakra system, the energetic and emotional body that holds feelings and memories. Curated music carries the rhythm as you move through waves of opening, feeling and releasing.

You were in control the whole time.

However intense it felt, your experience was yours to direct. That's the heart of this work: your healing is up to you, and you're more capable of it than you knew.

what makes this method different?

Education first. You understand what's happening and why, before and after.

An intentional flow. Energy moves with direction, root to crown, so you don't leave scattered.

Integration. Expanded awareness only becomes change when it's embodied in your life.

THE BASIC SCIENCE

What happened in your body

Your breath happens on its own, yet you can also guide it with intention. That rare combination makes it one of the most direct ways to reach your nervous system.

Connected Breath

Conscious connected breathing has no pause between the inhale and the exhale. Breathing this way, fuller and faster than usual, shifts your body chemistry within minutes.

Mind and Memory

The Sensations

You breathe off more carbon dioxide than usual, which changes your blood chemistry. Tingling, tightness in the hands or face, lightheadedness and temperature shifts are common, and they pass when your breath returns to normal.

The Nervous System

Intense breathing activates your stress response for a short, safe stretch. When the breath is released, the body swings into deep rest. That arc, charge then release, is part of why emotions can move.

These shifts can open expanded states of awareness, where thoughts, memories and feelings surface with less resistance. While modern research on breathwork is still growing, these techniques are far from new. Healers, mystics and practitioners around the world have used the breath for thousands of years as a pathway to deeper states of consciousness. Many people who practice today describe the same benefits these traditions have long pointed to: greater healing, clarity in their lives, a stronger sense of spiritual connection, and a growing trust in the unknown, often accompanied by less anxiety and a lighter mood.

The Practical Side

Caring for yourself over the next few days

Breathwork keeps working after you leave the room. Feelings, memories and insights may keep surfacing for a few days. That's normal, and it's part of the process.

  • Hydrate and eat something grounding. Warm, simple food helps you land back in your body.

  • Rest more than you think you need. Sleep is when much of the integration happens.

  • Move gently. A walk outside or slow stretching helps release what's still moving.

  • Write it down. Capture images, words or feelings before they fade.

  • Go easy on big decisions and alcohol for a day or two. Give yourself space to settle first.

integration

Expansion becomes change only when you live it.

Becoming more aware of your past, present and future is a gift. Integration is how that awareness becomes part of the way you think, choose and act every day.

Listen in the days after your session, whenever you want to return to what opened for you. Find a quiet place to sit or lie down.

Questions to sit with

After the meditation, take one question at a time to your journal. There are no right answers, only honest ones.

  1. What came up for me, and what did it want me to know?

  2. What do I feel ready to let go of?

  3. What new belief do I want to carry forward?

  4. What is one action I'll take this week to honour it?
